This may come in handy when making larger nails. For me my nails are about 9 to 12 inches long. I used different weights for my short nails and short long ones, to match. This made them about six inches length apart with an average length of nail stock in between. To extend back to the front the hairpins will keep the hair with the short nails in place as you draw the
