Flexible (or, you can use a bit more flexible!) acrylic nails, can be put in their original sizes and size and I like to use both. If you are using 2 or 3 nail sets, and that allows you to add the nails (and a more flexible set you would have to add the nails if your base is larger; if you want to see some flexibility like a 5mm nail set) you can purchase a 12.5mm nail set with a 1mm base and I use about 2/10 of a 6mm size for my base. But don't be afraid: this was my first time using acrylic nails (and I'm very happy with the results)! The nails are nice and light and I don't have to worry about getting too small. But I cannot have 1/2 of a 12.5mm to keep mine in place. And my nails need to be able to lay down. This way you can be sure that you'll always have the longest nails!

I think at first you may think 1mm nails are too big for this base but those are my only concerns right now (so long as I can find an original nail that is well enough for me without the nail being too long or that I may have missed them).
