You can also pre-shape your nails using the same method. (Or you can just follow the steps at the bottom of this page)

Make sure to cut straight through the tips of the nails out so the glue sticks to the bottom of the nails. This only happens if you stick it with two nail trays sticking straight down the sides to the underside. (The top is the glue!) I like using a 3/8" piece for the nails.

To make this quick and easy look, I have you using 1 1/2 inch (6cm) acrylic nails to make my own long. If you use thicker nails, you will cut them a bit shorter by half.
