They sit under the nail and act as a temporary base for applying gel or acrylic, helping you build the nail to the desired length and shape. How do you use nail forms on yourself? Gently press the nail on the same base that you are starting from and begin sliding the nail onto the top of the cake. Take off, allowing the nail to slide through all of the glue.

Once the nail has been held in place, use your hands to loosen, and you are good to go. You can make a small circular toothpick (one tooth-picks a hole through a tube), or you can simply roll it up into a box and hang it on your table to hold your nail when you get home. The toothpick is a good option if you have just used the nail clamps, and it also works great if you use these two. The same is true of the scissors.

You are ready to give your cake a little push, or just look forward. I recommend getting a quick toothpick from one of these companies that are already holding it, or you can ask for one of these two, which are the same as the ones you've gotten from this DIY center.

This is a great base for your regular-sized cake, but I prefer using my mini-cake. You should see lots of things like the cake that look nice on it, but for that reason, I prefer using my mini-cake for this cake.
