The "Finger of the Wedding" on the right is from the National Geographic Channel's "The Fingers of the Wedding." A photograph by the photographer, Susan Stearns, of "sour blue" roses, which have been painted on a plastic tray of pink, pink-tinted champagne.

These roses cost $2,500 each, which is about $30,000 for a flower set. And at the museum, visitors can also learn more of the "Teddy Bear, A Lady of the Flowers" variety, or go over the history of her flower collection, from 1866 to the present.

And that money is probably coming from the Smithsonian Institution.

The museum is hosting a symposium by an activist group called The Flower History Project, co-founded by former President Bill Clinton (R), to encourage the museum's efforts to support science and innovation that can save lives, raise money for poor families who have no access to health care, and more. So let's bring the past out of the fads. And as the show continues, the museum will have a large display, complete with a few hundred pieces of art, of flowers.
