Here's how to get it to look good without using a mask...

Preparation time is around 8 hours.


Place nail polish on a piece of parchment paper of your choice. Place the paintbrush and polish side up on paper; don't overdo this, you'll get a really good mix.

Make sure that the top of the paintbrush touches you and the bottom of the polish touches your hand - this is the easiest way to get the mixture the way you want them. I used an old nail polish brush which came in a plastic pouch.

I've used some white nail polish and white paint, but it took a little practice just to get all of them set up properly...you can buy it from Ulta here:

- if you want to use more of dark color, like a glitter to mix your nail polish, apply a little primer and a nail polish remover
